TASFAST Airfreight has, for more than 15 years, provided an overnight Door-Door air freight service out of Melbourne and into Tasmania for selective clients. The clients serviced are those that need early delivery and reliable hands on service.

To deliver air freight, starting at 7:30 am in all major population centres across the state, we have our own vans travelling Wynyard to Hobart.
This network of vans will now be used to provide a state wide over night parcel service. As is the company’s policy, growth will be geared to the ability to provide excellent service.

* By arrangement items can be dropped at Moorabbin as late as 10:30pm for an overnight delivery

* In Emergency Break Down situations, items can be picked up from Wynyard terminal 10 minutes after landing or a taxi can be used to speed delivery

* Our Statewide courier can offer an overnight parcel service between all major Tasmanian population centers.

Door to Door Melb - Tas

Overnight (Delivery by 9:30 AM) $45 for the first 5 kgs, then add $4.00 per kg

Standby (Two Day Service) $45 for the first 10 kgs, then add $2.50 per kg

Economy (Four Day Service) $45 for the first 20 kgs, then add $1.50 per kg

Light/Bulky is charged at the rate of 250 kgs per cubic metre  Cubic Calculator

Onforward to and from country areas add $8.00 for first 20 kgs, then $0.40 per Kg

Across State Courier - Parcels

The Tasfast courier system can pick up in Hobart between 4 – 5 pm each night & deliver to Launceston, Scottsdale, Tamar Valley, St Helens, St Mary’s and the North West Coast as far as Wynyard overnight with an early delivery and a connection to Smithton for deliveries before 12 noon.

Rates

Parcel Rate  is $8.00 plus GST ($8.80) for the first item, every item after that, to the same drop-off point, is $4.00 plus GST ($4.40).

Pallet Rate to Launceston forked-off is $22.00 plus GST ($24.20); hand unloaded is $32.00 plus GST ($35.20).

Pallet rate to the North West Coast would be $29.00 plus GST ($31.90), hand unloaded $39.00 plus GST ($42.90).
